Our products are made using men’s sizing. However, because of the styling, and adjustment features, and smaller grading in the smaller sizes (ie. shorter proportional arm length in a small jacket), our clothes fit most women as well. This allows a more “unisex” fit. Also, women can tighten pants at the waist and still have enough room in the hips, while men can loosen the tabs to allow the elastic to stretch, giving them enough room at the waist.
FIT – Because of different body types, heights, etc. this chart is approximate only. You will be more accurate by choosing the size of your first reaction to what you normally wear. If you think you are in-between sizes, for pants, you should round up; and if in doubt, go with the next size bigger. If you are in-between sizes for jackets, round down, or stay with what you would normally wear in a T-shirt. Some people tell us that or jackets run true to size or bigger, and that our pants run a little small. Because this is outerwear, and you will probably layer, it is better to go bigger rather than smaller if in doubt.
Jackets – We strongly suggest that you go with their first reaction to what they normally buy in the store – i.e. med, large, x-large, etc. in men’s sizing. The jackets are made to be roomy in the chest for layering or wearing radio harnesses.
Pants – our pants run on the smaller side as compared to the jackets.
Softshell & Fleece (Mid-layers) – Also run smaller as compared to outer jackets.
Rescue and Radio Vests – run about a size smaller than normal. They are made to be tight against the body, but depending on how much you layer or how much gear you load, we suggest you order a size up.
General sizing estimates. Because of body types, it is impossible for us to get an exact fit. Please call us for further information if you are having a hard time. We can help you based on your height AND weight.
