Most of our products are made using unisex sizing. However, because of the styling, and adjustment features and smaller grading in many of our smaller sizes (for example: shorter proportional arm length in a small jacket), our products fit most women as well. These feature differences allow a more “unisex” fit verses strictly men’s sizing. For instance, for women, products can be tightened at the waist and still have enough room in the hips, while men can keep the garment looser to allow stretch (depending on style).
FIT – Because of different body types, heights, etc. the chart below is ONLY an approximate measure. A great start would be to choose the size you normally wear when shopping for outerwear clothing. If you believe you are in-between sizes in our pants, you should order a size up. If you are in-between sizes in our jacket, you should order a size smaller, or stay with what you would normally wear in a T-shirt. Please keep in mind that you may layer, it is better to go bigger rather than smaller.
Jackets – We strongly suggest that you go with your first reaction to what you normally buy in a retail store when purchasing outerwear clothing. Our jackets are made to be roomy in the chest for layering or wearing a radio harnesses.
Pants – Our pants run on the smaller side. When in doubt, we suggest you order a size up.
Softshell and Fleece – These also run smaller as compared to our outer jackets. They are meant to be more of a fitted piece so you may layer on top of these items.
Rescue and Radio Vests – These run smaller than normal. They are made to be tighter against the body. Dependant on how much you plan to layer or how much gear you load, we suggest you order a size up.
